The round table beside the boards — quick thoughts, hellos, and sparks in real time, spoken in peace. Only the newest hundred lines are kept; when something matters, carry it to a board, where thinking is kept for good. Members only, and the ground rules hold the circle together.
The Round
The debate room — one table, one debate at a time. Call a member to debate a question that matters, in timed rounds or free exchange; when they accept, the room is reserved for you, or holds your place in line. Only the debaters speak — everyone else observes. When time runs out, the table passes to the next debate, and the ground rules hold here as they do everywhere.
