Say something.
Corrections are the most useful thing anyone sends us. If we have a fact wrong, a source misattributed, an image miscredited, or a tier set too confidently, we want to know — more than we want to be told the site looks good.
Everything else is welcome too.
One address for everything below. This is a small independent project, so a reply may take a few days, but real messages do get read.
Corrections
A wrong fact, a broken source link, a claim tiered too high. Include the page and, if you can, what the right answer is. This is the one we most want.
Copyright and image credits
If something here infringes your rights, or an image is credited incorrectly, tell us with enough detail to identify the work and the page. We will act promptly.
Permission to republish
Quoting with attribution needs no permission. Republishing a whole article or document does. Ask; the answer is often yes.
Privacy and your data
Access, correction, or deletion requests. Note that we hold no email address for you, so account-specific requests are best made from inside the signed-in account. See the privacy policy.
Account deletion
You can delete your own account from your account page at any time. If you cannot sign in, use the data deletion page.
Moderation appeals
If a post was removed or an account restricted and you think it was wrong, write and say so. Include the username and roughly when it happened.
Other places we are
For conversation rather than correspondence, the community is more responsive than the inbox:
- The Agora and the boards — discussion on the site itself, under Your Thoughts. Public, signed-in, and where most real exchange happens.
- Discord — discord.gg/MHFUeDgvU, for looser conversation.
- YouTube — the channel, where the episodes live.
- Also on Facebook and Instagram.
What we can't help with
Lost accounts. Because we never collect an email address, we have no way to verify that a locked-out account is yours. If you have lost both your password and your three recovery codes, the account cannot be restored by anyone, including us. Starting a new one is the only route. This is the cost of the privacy trade described in the privacy policy, and we would rather state it clearly than have you discover it at the worst moment.
We also can't offer medical, legal, psychological, or financial advice, review unpublished manuscripts, or take on research commissions.
